Google Continues Erosions to Privacy
It's a slow trickle ... a Chinese water torture as opposed to full on water boarding ... a persistent series of small annoyance and little inconveniences that add up over time, subtly and indisputably shaping human behavior; yet, taken individually, any single occurrence raises not so much as a curious eyebrow.
Recently, the GoogleBot has decided to become ever more intolerant of privacy. When using the same anonymizer.com subscription service that I have used for many years, the following action is taken by GoogleBot in response to periodic searches.
