Motorola ONTs connect more than one million subscribers to rich consumer experiences via ultra-broadband FTTH technology

(NYSE:MOT) Home & Networks Mobility business celebrates an industry milestone today as it ships its one millionth optical network terminal (ONT) for Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) deployments around the globe. In enabling these FTTH networks, Motorola ONTs are accelerating the delivery of ultra-broadband services, enabling rich personalized media experiences such as higher-capacity video, voice and ultra-high-speed Internet services.

Motorola began scaled shipments of ONTs in 2004 and has since risen to a leadership position across the global FTTH marketplace. Supported by world-class engineering, manufacturing and operations, Motorola now offers a full portfolio of international ONTs designed for single family units, multiple dwelling units (MDUs) and small businesses.
