During the Convergence08 coverage by FastForward Radio, I realized some of the principles and assumptions from the Protestant Work Ethic that were adaptive for the industrialization phase of our society, but which can become quite maladaptive as a society progresses toward levels of material abundance that make Universal Material Sufficiency not only possible, but perhaps necessary as another stage of development. I will elaborate on those thoughts a bit later, but wanted to share the show here in the meantime. Onward!
