Is it annoying that Blogger imports to Sweetcron don't bring links along?

These are Those Days
You know those four days you have to wait until the root canal? Those four, during which if ANYTHING touches your front left tooth (#9 in the industry lingo) it maps to a nerve bundle directly behind your nose, evoking the nauseating feeling of being smashed directly in the face? Yeah, well, these four days are those days. The crime for which this punishment is due? Properly treating a broken tooth with a crown several years ago, which, as an unintended yet foreseeable consequence, can eventually propagate nerve death. Said trapped dead nerve triggers infection. And you're right. None of this feels particularly reminiscent of the path toward substrate independence.

This Week in Root Canals
Oh yay. Feels like somebody kicked me straight in the mouth; so for those who wish that upon me, congratulations: root canal, FTW!
Dentist says it's the result of having done The Right Thing some 25 years ago when I had this crown installed. Apparently, nerve death and infection often ensue after some random period of time.
So, once again, no good deed or right action goes unpunished. Such intelligent design. Such planned perfection and splendor. ;-)
Get to wait until Thursday for the root canal.
