The wine analogy does break down in that it's OUR ATTENTION that is the most valuable scarce resource. So you can't say, "pay the chitchatters a penny, but the the wizbangers $100." TIME is the great equalizer; and maybe the wizbangers will capture MORE of that; but maybe they won't. Who are we to be the judge of where and how people spend their Computer Mediated Multimedia Communication time? ;-)
