So, I have 19 connected sites right now, but I've kept them all on private. That was before there were mute links for the streams people don't want to see. I know that mute has been around for a long time, now, but my brain hasn't been around nearly enough recently to A.) be very productive with any of those stream B.) consider turning them on just to see what happens on buzz. So, maybe I'll try to make an even bigger mess of things at some point in the coming weeks.
Truth be told, I'm really more invested in anticipation of some kind of a #salmonish nirvana that will usher in an open WWW era for activity streams. Before there was WWW, the old timers used gopher, telnet, ftp, and such for everything. Even with all the advances we've seen in this space, I just can't shake this feeling that all this social stream messaging is still like that gopher stage of the net, and we're still waiting for Netscape to arrive.
